Show House

Stay tuned for news about our 16th Designer Show House, coming Spring 2025!

The Designer Showhouse is the Junior League of Hartford’s signature fundraising event, raising more than $1.6 million for charity since its inception in 1979. Funds raised from The Showhouse directly support the charitable projects and programs of the Junior League of Hartford whose mission is to make the Greater Hartford Community a better place to live by promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The Junior League is a 501(c)(3) and not-for-profit organization whose purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Every three years, The Designer Showhouse features a notable home or estate in the greater Hartford area and highlights renowned interior designers and landscape architects from CT, New York, and surrounding states, to completely transform a home’s interior spaces and surrounding grounds. Designers have 6 weeks to complete their transformation. Then the home opens for three weeks for in-person public tours and a series of special events.
